Her introduction to coaching came from experience as she worked with a coach to facilitate her exit from the business she started in 1983 to pay tuition for a college bound daughter. A 3 year plan to relocate, rename and refocus the business was made. In 1997 the business was sold, one year earlier than planned. The results spoke for themselves. In 1998 she became a coach, graduating from The Coaches Training Institute. The Certified Professional Co-Active Coach designation, among the highest in the industry, was achieved in 2000. In March, 2005 she was the Visiting Coach at Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing, China.
